snow update
By ccrossen | February 5, 2010
Stormed most of the morning along the upper reaches of the Crest, making for an amazing morning of skiing. Higher elevations received 6-10 last night. Mostly wind affected and dense, super-fast and fun. Snow stayed light and wintery all morning long. Down low temps were warm, almost no wind, no precip, an entirely different world all-together. Snow should stay nice for the weekend. Incoming storm looks like it’s going to dive south and nail Mammoth and the Eastern Sierra, while we’ll only get a couple of inches or so. Next week is looking iffy for anything major. Stay tuned. Enjoy the snow while we have it.
