something out there

By ccrossen | December 19, 2017

Snow in the forecast – we have a strong, fast-moving, and cold system dropping in for a quick hit Tuesday night – Wednesday. We could see up to 10-12 inches above 7,000′, and there is very cold air in place, which will stay around, so we could have a great reset … this snow will be very low water content, so take that into account when exploring lines.

After this system, we go into another prolonged dry spell, until at least New Year’s eve, where, right now, the models are showing a stronger, wetter system dropping in and giving us a nice prolonged event. We’ll see what transpires, as this is a ways out right now. Stay tuned, enjoy the reset this week.
