Posting many records this winter, none of them very good – heading for the lowest snow year on record, and it shows – dirt below 7500′. Fortunately, we still have a decent snowpack above 8,000′ and the small system that moved through this week, combined with cold temps, did a great deal to refresh things. The skiing is pretty good all things considered. We have managed to get just enough, every time, to make the season work.

Next potential for any sort of price comes this Sunday into Monday, with cold temps and 1-3 inches … after this pulses, expect a 10 day wait before anything else materializes… fortunately, it looks like we might get a real system end of the month into March. Stay tuned. Enjoy.
